What is Your Understanding of The Law of God?

The Commands of God is also called as the ‘law of God’. The law of God is not simply a list of Do’s and Don’ts but it reveals the heart of God for our well-being. God’s commandments are not meant to hurt us or take away our joy; God’s laws are meant to guard us, guide us, and ultimately point us to Jesus!

When we understand the law correctly then we will be able to say like the Psalmist in Psalm 119:97, “Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.” Reading, meditating and loving God’s Word is a daily discipline and a life-long practice. 6. It brings people to Jesus! (1 Peter 1:23)
